2025 Fourth of July Celebration: Red, White & Blue on the River
Join us for the City of Carlsbad’s annual 4th of July Celebration — a full day of patriotic fun, family activities, and community spirit!
We’ll kick off the morning with the 4th of July Parade, brought to you by Carlsbad MainStreet and the City of Carlsbad. The parade begins at 9:00 AM and features festive floats, marching groups, classic cars, and local organizations showing off their red, white, and blue pride.

After the parade, head down to the Lake Carlsbad Beach area for an all-day celebration featuring:
A wide variety of food trucks and vendors
FREE live music and entertainment throughout the day
Games, contests, and fun zones for kids and families
Water activities to help you cool off
In the evening, enjoy one of the biggest traditions in town — the fireworks show at dark over the Pecos River. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets and enjoy the show with your family.
